yay lilly! i'm all for giving emergent a social conscience. i know it's unfathomable (SP?) that something positive came 'out of rwanda', but the seeds of IJM were actually sown there. gary haugen was working with the justice dept. and was sent to document the genocide.

it was then that god worked in his heart to plant the international justice mission - i know it doesn't make what happened there better or right in any way, but i look at their blood being what watered the soil this seed was planted in. pulling something redeemable out of that horror.

i pray they hear your's and adam's call. i truly do.

ps - thanks for the invite to ec nashville... there is nothing i would rather do. funds are tight and it probably won't happen... sniff, sniff...
