surgery on christmas eve eve

tomorrow, friday, we're heading to children's hospital for mac's hand surgery. surgery will be about 10am est and take about 2.5 hours. then we'll be waiting through the recovery room process and when mac is able to eat and drink something, he'll get to come home. prayerfully by 6pm friday night.

we can tell folks are praying! 
i have had a much brighter attitude...i think my ebenezerness is finally wearing off.
and mac is doing well considering all of this. he's not in too much pain...taking aleve rather than the hard core perscription stuff. he even got out for a little christmas shopping today. his hand is swollen and his shoulder hurts from holding his arm up, but he's hanging in there.

thanks so much for all the prayers! please keep praying for mac and the lewin gang!

jesus  may your peace guard our hearts and minds tonight and tomorrow and as we prepare for christmas, help us to focus
on the gift you gave us of your presence with us ....in all things. good and bad, sweet and sour, hour by hour.
