tonight will be my last night of tv for awhile.
tonight i am saying farewell to one of my favorite shows...everwood.
sadly, the WB and UPN merger has meant the demise of an intelligent, sensitive show that had great "sermon" potential almost every week. the characters have become friends. i really feel the series had
much more to say and had yet to run its course into sappy redundancy. too bad well-written, non-slutty tv doesn't sell. i guess i'll have to invest in the dvds...and pray hard for "house" to survive so i'll have something decent to watch in the fall.
I love Everwood too Lilly. It was so thoughtful and well written (most of the time) and when it wasn't, it was still fun.
The final episode was good...a happy ending that didn't seem too contrived, considering that they probably only had a few weeks to piece it together.
Oh...and those mountain scenes...made my heart happy.
Grace and Peace,
Joe

Sorry to hear about your show. I feel that way every time the NFL regular season ends. Are you in Michigan now or will you guys be coming up in the summer at all?
I truly enjoyed seeing the dog named Kevin in your last post. I nearly spit my drink out of my mouth laughing.
cheers,
brad
