over the last few months i've developed a deep compassion for folks who live with chronic pain. i've been living with a "frozen shoulder" and/or a neck issue that causes pain to run down my arm to my fingers since january. since march, i've been living at the chiropractor and physical therapist and have made two visits to the orthopedic surgeon. the hardest part for me is the fact that lying down hurts worse than being up and about. thus sleeping is often interrupted.
i've never been good with pain. i really am thankful for epiderals (no natural childbirth for moi) and advil.( my current drug of choice)..i realize how whimpy i am and how pain causes me to be a real crab. besides doctors, i've had folks lay hands on me and pray and had my friends who are massage therapists work on my shoulder and pray some more. some days are better than others, but i'd appreciate your prayers as i head for MRI #2 tomorrow. thanks.
Just prayed for you sister.
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
May you be surrounded in His peace.

Of course - chronic pain is so exhausting.
Lots of prayers that a cause and an effective treatment are both on their way fast.
